Executive career mentoring
For senior professionals navigating international moves, leadership steps, or a pivot into recruitment, RPO or global mobility. Direct, candid, one-to-one.
Cross-border talent advisory
Twenty-five years building international recruitment, outsourcing and mobility operations across Europe and beyond — now applied directly to your growth, one engagement at a time.
Who you're working with
I'm Marek Wróbel, and I've spent my career on the operating side of cross-border talent: leading 50+ consultant teams, carrying P&L for temporary, outsourcing and permanent lines at Hays across Poland, Czechia and Hungary, and heading RPO and MSP as Commercial Director at ManpowerGroup Poland.
Today I co-run Optiveum, matching engineering demand in Scandinavia, Western Europe and the US with experienced remote engineers from Central Europe. I also advise HRCode as International Business Director, helping the Wrocław-based agency open new sourcing channels for skilled and general workers from geographies such as India and Colombia to meet demand across Western Europe. Through MPW Consulting I take on a small number of direct mentoring and advisory engagements — the kind of counsel I wish I'd had earlier in my own career.
My work spans more than one market: alongside Europe, I have hands-on experience in the UAE, deep grounding in cross-border recruitment and global mobility, and a long-standing interest in labour law — the framework that shapes how people are hired, contracted and moved across borders, and a subject I follow closely in both my advisory work and my writing.
Outside work, I'm a keen traveller who has visited over 60 countries, and a linguist at heart — I speak six languages and am always learning more. I also share my passion for travel as an advisor on Fora Travel.

How I can help
For senior professionals navigating international moves, leadership steps, or a pivot into recruitment, RPO or global mobility. Direct, candid, one-to-one.
For founders and agency owners scaling teams across markets: sourcing models, EOR/payroll structure, the labour-law considerations that shape cross-border hiring, and which infrastructure to build first.
How an engagement runs
A focused first call to map where you are, what you're trying to reach, and whether I'm the right person for it. No obligation.
A clear plan — the moves, the sequence, and the tools that fit your stage rather than the ones with the biggest logo.
Ongoing sessions as you execute, so decisions get pressure-tested by someone who has made them before.
A short strategy session is the simplest way to see if this is useful for you.
